Nestled in the picturesque village of Firle, near Lewes in East Sussex, Burning Sky Brewery stands out as one of the most respected craft breweries in the UK. Founded in 2012 by Andy Parker and Justin Hawke, former Brewdog Brewery colleagues, Burning Sky has carved a niche for its unique fusion of English Pale Ales with Belgium-inspired flavours. Their commitment to traditional brewing methods ensures each beer is unfiltered, unpasteurised, and bursting with natural flavours.

Our Project with Burning Sky Brewery

Shootlab, are a Content Creation Agency based in Lewes, Sussex, we were tasked with shooting a series of photographs and producing an 'About Us' video for the craft beer brand Burning Sky Brewery. We created this film for Let's Do Business Group, a business support group based in Hastings that offers assistance to the East Sussex region.

Burning Sky Brewery is located on the Firle estate in the village itself, not far from Lewes where are studio is based! They are particularly known for their Pale Ales and have won many industry awards. We aimed to capture the essence of their brewing process and the unique character of their beers through our visuals.

The brewery was founded in 2012 by Andy Parker and Justin Hawke, who met while working at the renowned Brewdog Brewery in Scotland. Parker and Hawke decided to set up Burning Sky after becoming disillusioned with the mass-produced, industrialised beers that dominate the UK market. Their aim was to create a range of high-quality, hand-crafted beers that would be enjoyed by beer lovers across the country. Burning Sky beers are brewed using only the finest ingredients, and all of their beers are unfiltered, unpasteurised and filled with natural flavour. The Burning Sky brewing process is completely traditional, meaning that their beers are slowly fermented over a period of weeks or even months. This allows the full flavour of the hops and malt to develop, resulting in a beer that is rich, complex and full of character. If you're looking for a delicious craft beer with plenty of flavour, then be sure to check out Burning Sky Brewery.
